Tips & ideas

The bridge is an exciting piece that encourages children of all ages to challenge their gross motor skills as they balance their bodies to walk across it.

Whether standing alone or included in an obstacle course, children will be engaging in learning dispositions such as patience and perseverance as they engage the skills of turn taking, space negotiation and hand eye coordination.  There will also be an element of risk taking as younger children learn to master the wobbly bridge.
