This pack of 40 Indigenous Australian Papers includes eight assorted designs with 6 backgrounds and 2 patterned papers, designed by the Aboriginal artist Peter Mackay “Judda”. These unique designs can be used in the classroom or at home to inspire children to create their own visual stories whilst discovering story telling in other cultures. Templates and art materials are intended as a starting point for meaningful making and responding lessons; and discussions within this context should enrich student understanding whilst acknowledging, respecting and valuing Aboriginal identities and cultural expressions. 4-page ideas guide included with teacher notes and activities.
